Know where every customer comes from
Add UTM tags to the links you share in ads, posts, emails and QR codes. Google Analytics then shows exactly which campaign brought each visitor.
Your link
Spaces become underscores and everything is lowercase, so the same campaign isn't counted twice.
I can set up Google Analytics, conversion tracking and your ads, so you know what every euro brings back.
Why tag your links
See what works
Compare Facebook with Instagram, or this month's offer with last month's.
Stop wasting budget
Put your money into the channels that bring customers, not just clicks.
Works with any tool
Google Analytics, Matomo, HubSpot and most other tools read UTM tags.
Offline too
A UTM link inside a QR code shows how many people came from your flyer or shop window.
Simple rules
- Always use lowercase
- Use the same names every time, for example always "facebook"
- Never tag links between your own pages
- Google Ads tracks itself with auto tagging, so tag only where it's off
- Keep a list of your campaign names
Questions
Which fields do I need?
Source, medium and campaign. Term and content are optional, for keywords or to tell two versions of an ad apart.
Where do I see the results?
In Google Analytics 4, under Reports, Acquisition, Traffic acquisition. Change the column to session source / medium or campaign.
Does the link still work if someone shares it?
Yes. The tags don't change the page. Shared copies are counted under the same campaign.
Is anything I type stored?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
Want your ads and analytics set up properly?
You get a reply within one working day with a clear scope and a price. No sales team, you talk to the engineer who builds it.
